Course Overview
This course is designed for currently licensed “Smog Check Repair” technicians who need to renew their smog repair license. It covers advanced topics in oscilloscope diagnostics and the use of pressure transducers.
Certification Requirements
To qualify for repair renewal, participants must:
- Certification: Possess valid certifications in the following categories from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence:
- Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6)
- Engine Performance (A8)
- Advanced Engine Performance Specialist (L1)
- Update Training: Provide proof of successful completion of 16 hours of update training from a BAR-certified training institution within the last two years.
Registration Details
Participants can register and purchase tickets using a Credit Card or PayPal below. If you prefer to pay onsite on the day of the class, please register in advance and arrive 15 minutes early to process cash or company checks.
Please Note: The training center does not accept personal checks.
